In January of 2017, Loren Starks, an Oklahoma licensed mechanical and plumbing contractor, purchased L.K. Wilson Company, which had provided heating, air conditioning, and plumbing services in the area since 1955.

Loren Starks is a third generation Stillwater resident and attended Stillwater High School. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in agricultural economics.
